he education of young students in Science, Technology and Math is critical for the future of our nation and world. Each of our member companies depends on a consistent stream of new, well-educated young people to provide talent for our future needs. The PSMA is aware of this need and recognizes the efforts of individuals or companies that encourage young people to consider a career in power electronics. The Annual PSMA Education Award is given each year to a recipient that meets the goal of providing education and awareness of Power Electronics to students in the K thru Undergraduate level.
Again this year the PSMA Industry-Education Committee is seeking nominations from PSMA members and others in the community on possible recipients of this award. Anyone who is aware of the contributions of an individual or organization can submit their name together with a brief summary citing the efforts of the candidate. The nomination can be made to the PSMA Industry-Education Committee by email thru the Association Office. The committee needs a brief description and contact information for follow-up and review.
If you have an interest in the future of our industry, please look into this area within your company and community so that the efforts can be recognized and send us your nominations.
