APEC 2014 Sustains Role as Industry-Leading Conference
APEC 2014

T he reports are in. While the big topic on everyone's mind was "efficiency," the best word to describe the environment was "energy." The results of the annual attendee survey indicated that the conference exceeded expectations.

The return to the Fort Worth venue resulted in the second consecutive year with attendance in excess of 4,000 power electronics professionals. The expanded trade show space hosted 226 exhibitors. Nearly 950 paper digests were submitted for APEC2014, of which 534 were selected for presentation. Plus a record number of industry presentations (78) added to the choices offered to attendees.

The major social event was an evening at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Attendees were treated to a Texas-style buffet dinner right on the field, tours of the player facilities and a performance by the world-famous Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.

APEC moves east in 2015 to Charlotte, NC, March 15-19. As energy efficiency continues to grow in importance, our conference and exposition fills a critical role in in delivering education and information. Plan to participate and Experience the APEC Energy. Be sure to visit the APEC website often for more information: www.apec-conf.org.
